Riot Act is a volunteer-run book shop working to provide our community with relevant and affordable reading material that educates, agitates, and inspires positive change - or is just enjoyable to read. We are anti-profit, meaning all money generated from sales goes directly into buying new material, hosting community events, and building capacity for local activism.

Our catalog has a focus on works that challenge the white supremacist, capitalist, imperialist, cis, hetero, patriarchal, individualist status quo. We are also the only bookstore operating in Binghamton, and we carry fiction, non-fiction, new and used books, literature and bookstore stuff.
